CV/BIO:
Liana is a self-taught artist who has been creating art since she was a kid, but like many artists, a business career became her focus for many years. She dove back into art 20 years ago, teaching primary and high school art for 10 years, while creating her own pieces. Because she’s self-taught, she experiments with any and every medium she can get her hands on. For the past 2 years, she’s settled in to creating highly textural, slightly abstract, mixed media paintings focusing on nature. Her primary surface of choice is wood panels, which can be painted in any medium, stripped, painted, sanded and repainted until the desired result is achieved.
