After retiring Gillian moved to Wagstaffe, where she completed a BA in Fine Art by distance education. Much of her work has been a response to the earth of the Bouddi Peninsula and she maintains an investigation of liminal spaces, actual and conceptual, that exist between the earth and other elements.
