Description: 3 rounded ceramic bowls hand thrown on the potters wheel with finger indent and tall foot. White and green glaze with areas of exposed stoneware, inspired by the tidal ebb and flow of the ocean. Perfect for nibbles or a small snack. They are dishwasher and microwave safe but hand washing is recommended.

CV:
David has been working with ceramics for five years and living in Darkinjung land at Pretty Beach for sixteen years raising his family with wife and fellow artist Leah Bennetts. His unique ceramics are hand formed on a pottery wheel in his home studio and are inspired by the colours, forms and seasonal change of Bouddi National Park and the ocean. From his professional background as an architect, his work has a contemporary architectural sensibility. The work in this exhibition are traditional glazed ceramics, however he also enjoys alternative firing methods including Raku, naked raku and pit (saggar) firing. He has been an active member of the Central Coast Potters Society for five years and has been a finalist in the Gosford Ceramic Prize in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. He has also exhibited at the Gosford Regional Gallery as part of the Central Coast Potters Society in group and selective exhibitions and has been involved in the Bouddi Arts Trail for three years.
